Sárközi Emília
About me
My name is Sárközi Emília and I am a physiotherapist. I studied at the University of Szeged, where during my university years I gained insight into the practice of several different specialities and built up wide-ranging practical experience.
In this profession I think it is especially important that learning does not stop with the degree. I keep looking for opportunities to deepen my professional knowledge and to take on new approaches.
With every patient who comes to me, I aim to adapt the treatment to their current condition and life situation. Patient feedback matters to me during our work together, because it helps us see, all the way through, how the body responds to each step. Soft-tissue techniques play an important part in my treatments, to help reduce pain and make movement more comfortable. Active exercises also get a strong emphasis: with them, the movement and function you regain are gradually built into everyday movement.
I believe physiotherapy is not only about making a particular complaint go away. I think it is at least as important that patients understand what is happening in their body, recognise its signals and, later on, are able to look after their own musculoskeletal health independently.
For me, physiotherapy is a shared process in which the patient's active role is at least as important as the treatment itself. I aim to support the people who come to me with clear explanations and personalised help, so that they understand better how their own body works, move with more confidence and can gradually return to the activities that matter to them.
